Torture

An unknown, liquid substance surrounded him. He felt stiff and cold and when he opened his eyes the light appeared green. At first, the images he saw were a blur, but the more he looked the better the images became. Sasori found himself in a strange laboratory. He was sealed inside a glass tube that was filled with a green liquid that he didn’t recognize. He didn’t know if this was a dream, or reality. Sasori thought back to the previous night. Last thing he remembered was lying beside Deidara in his room. What was he doing here? He decided to pinch himself, but he didn’t expect any pain. When he did, the pain shot up his arm. What the hell is going on! I’m not supposed to feel anything! Sasori thought. That’s when the thought hit him. Almost frightened to do so, Sasori looked down at his arm. His eyes widened when he saw that what once was his wooden, puppet body had now become one of soft flesh. No…No! This can be happening! Sasori thoughts. His thoughts were desperate and he started to freak out. He hammered on the glass tube he was sealed inside, but it didn’t break. The glass was mixed with chakra, keeping him trapped inside. He tried yelling, but the green liquid prevented his sound from exiting his mouth. Sasori became aware that the liquid was made up of some type of liquidated gas. Oxygen, he new. The liquid must have been a mix of liquidated gas to keep him alive in the tube. That explained why he didn’t drown in the substance. Sasori didn’t spend a lot of time thinking on it. Who ever did this must have been a person of scientific knowledge. He began to think about it. Going though all the people in his head that he knew. The only one he thought of that could do such a thing to him made him growl in anger. The only one who could do this, was his ex-partner Orochimaru. Sasori grinded his teeth in anger. What did Orochimaru want with him? What did he accomplish by turning his body into a human again? No answer came to either question. Just then the door opened. In walked a tall man with a pale, snake-like face. His eyes were gold and had black slit pupils. His hair was strait, black and it dangled above his lower back. His mouth was curled in a white grin. There was purple eye paint around his eyes that came down in lines down the nose, and he wore a black robe that ended at his ankles. Sasori knew the man and his eyes glared in anger. The man he knew, was his ex-partner, Orochimaru. They looked at each other for a moment. Sasori glaring and Orochimaru making his usual evil smile. Orochimaru laughed a little. He put down his clipboard and walked over to the tube Sasori was trapped in.
“ I see you finally woke up Sasori-kun, and I see that the transformation was 100% success.” Orochimaru said with an evil chuckle. Sasori’s eyes narrowed more in anger, but he could speak though the liquid. Orochimaru laughed again. “ I guess your wondering why you’re here. Well, I needed to run an experiment on that heart of yours.” He said. Sasori eyes widened a little. An experiment? Sasori again looked down at his new body. It was exactly like his other one he had before he changed into a puppet. Orochimaru made his evil chuckle again. “ You see Sasori-kun. I became fascinated with that puppet body you had and I wanted to see if I could reverse what you did. And, seeing by my results, it has worked perfectly.” He grinned. Sasori couldn’t believe what he had heard. Just wanted to see what he could do? There had to be another reason, Sasori thought. Orochimaru watched Sasori’s reaction and smiled. “ I also wanted you to feel pain. Since you were a puppet, you wouldn’t feel the pain of my revenge. I wanted you and the Akastuki to know just how strong I can be. And you were the perfect specimen.” He snickered. Sasori didn’t know what to do. It had been so long since he could feel any pain, and now Orochimaru was planing to make him suffer the full nervous system? As much as he didn’t want to admit it, Sasori was a bit frightened. Of course he wouldn’t let his ex-partner know that. He decided to find a way out, if there was one. His memory suddenly flashed back to his present partner, Deidara. If Orochimaru took him form the Akastuki base, then he would know about his feelings for Deidara. Sasori glared at Orochimaru more. Now Orochimaru knows his secret, this has taken a terrible turn for him. Orochimaru watched Sasori. Chuckling at every one of Sasori’s expressions. How he longed to see Sasori suffer. Finally, now that his rival was human, he could force pain on him. Everything was going to plan. Orochimaru walked over to a switch that was connected to Sasori’s prison by a metal box.
“ Now you will witness the power of science.” Orochimaru declared. Sasori’s eyes widened as he saw Orochimaru reach for the switch. He searched franticly for a way out, but it was to late. Orochimaru pulled down the switch and the liquid that encased Sasori sparked with the electricity. The liquid began to boil. For the first time in his life, Sasori screamed. The liquid burned down is throat and made what seemed to be chemical burns on his skin. The electric bolts came from the glass in all directions. They struck Sasori mostly around the chest and began to make circle-like burns where they struck. He couldn’t breathe. The pain was nothing like he ever imagined. The liquid, making it sound like he was being strangled under water muffled Sasori’s screams. It went into his lungs, burning like fire. His eyes were opened to their fullest and his hair was standing on end. The bolts went thorough him like lightning and everything the liquid touched was heated to the max, eventually becoming a burn. Orochimaru watched in amusement. His evil smile turning into a chuckle, then into a laugh. Orochimaru took out his timer, and clicked the start button, timing to see how long Sasori would last. Sasori couldn’t see anything. His mind flashed into memories. Each one being from his past. It began with his childhood. How he would wait by the window for days to see if his parents were coming home. His grandmother, teaching him about puppets. Then all down the line. The memories were just as painful as the burns and the jolts of fire. He screamed with both of the pains. Wanting to give up, wanting to collapse in a corner. His pupils fully dilated and his heart felt like it was screaming. Orochimaru was impressed on how long Sasori was lasting, so he went back to the switch and pulled it down to the 3rd power line. The bolts got more intense and the liquid started to steam. Sasori’s body jerked and twitched with the pain. His screams became louder and the liquid burned down to his stomach. Blood started to escape Sasori’s mouth and it formed a red, boiling cloud in the liquid above him. Orochimaru was laughing like the mad man he was and pulled the switch, 2 bellow the maximum power. The liquid boiled over and the lights in the room started to flicker. Sasori’s skin began to peal and disintegrate, making more and more blood clouds. Sasori couldn’t scream any louder. His mind flashed to Deidara. The bright, happy memories of Deidara danced in his head. Through the pain he saw Deidara smile at him, saw him dance around in the rain, saw him throw his hand in the air in victory. Sasori saw all these things. His eyes then unleashed boiled tears that then mixed with the bubbles of his screams. His vision became blurry with blood and his body burned him to the bone. Orochimaru licked his lips at the sight of the blood. His revenge was sweet. The sight of Sasori screaming in pain made him want to pull the switch all the way down, but he decided agents it. He knew once he did, Sasori would fully dissolve in less then a second. He wanted to see more suffering, so he stood in front of Sasori, watching. It’s when he head the door crash open did he ever look away. There, standing in the doorway was Deidara and right behind him was Itachi. Deidara’s eyes widened when he saw Sasori screaming and dissolving away in clouds of blood. His eyes started to tear up and his face wrinkled with anger. Itachi’s eyes also widened when he saw Sasori, mostly because he didn’t know Orochimaru could do anything like this. He was more interested then angry. Deidara ran at Orochimaru, tears in his eyes and kunai in his hand. How dare Orochimaru do this to his Sasori! He would make him pay for all the pain he caused him. Deidara was about to strike, but Orochimaru was too quick. He restrained Deidara’s arms behind his back and pressed him up agents the hot, glass tube that Sasori was being kept inside. Forcing him to watch. Deidara struggled and his tears fell down his cheek. Some of the boiled over liquid steamed down the side. It touched Deidara’s shoulder giving him a small taste of the pain Sasori was feeling. Orochimaru laughed and threw Deidara to the side. Deidara stood back up and took out his clay. Orochimaru looked at Itachi and smiled.
“ Long time no see Itachi… Your eyes have gotten stronger I see.” He said. Itachi glared at him, but said nothing.
“SHUT UP YOU B*****D! LET SASORI GO!” Deidara screamed. He threw the clay bomb at Orochimaru. It exploded but it didn’t hit him. Orochimaru had jumped to the side laughing.
“ My, my. What a feisty one you are. Well, I can’t blame a love-struck weakling like yourself.” Orochimaru grinned. Deidara’s eyes burned with anger.
“ HOW DARE YOU DO THIS TO SASORI-DANNA, UN!” Deidara screamed. He threw a bunch of mini spider bombs that surrounded Orochimaru. Orochimaru covered them all in little bearers of his chakra so when they went off, nothing happened to him or the lab. He laughed again and started to fade away in a cloud of black smoke.
“ Take him to Pein-kun. Show him the small taste of my powers. This is nothing. Tell him to watch out, and be afraid.” He said as he fully disappeared. Deidara’s tears streamed down his face as he saw the cloud fade away. His attention was then brought to Sasori who was still screaming in the tube of green liquid.
“ Sasori!!” Deidara screamed. He ran over to the switch and turned it off. The water still boiled but it began to lose power. The bolts of electricity faded, and the water slowly came from over boiling, to hot. He didn’t know how to open the glass. Deidara searched for a way to open it. Sasori’s mind snapped back. The pain wasn’t so harsh now and he wondered why. His eyes came back to normal and he managed to move his head to look thought the tube. What he saw shocked him. Deidara was there with a worried expression. His body still hurt him and he began to drown in the green substance. The oxygen had steamed out now all that was left was green liquid. Deidara reached in his bag and pulled out his clay. He threw the clay at the glass tube and its shattered. The green substance along with Sasori came out in a wave. Sasori crashed agents the stone floor on his back. His head turned to the side and his eyes closed. Deidara let out a cry and ran to Sasori’s side.
“ Sasori! Say something!” Deidara cried. Sasori said nothing, but he could hear Deidara tragic cries. He tried to move, but the pain left him still. He opened his eyes and looked at Deidara. Deidara’s eyes were wide in fear and worry. He looked down at Sasori’s body and gently touched the burned flesh. Sasori winced and tears ran down his face. He felt so weak, so pathetic. Deidara gently picked Sasori up, the body was so light and young. Just like the dream he had a few nights before. Sasori looked up into his lover’s eyes. He tried speaking but his voice was scratchy.
“ D-Deidara…” Sasori managed to say. Deidara looked at him. The tears ran down his face and he held Sasori close to his chest, being careful not to cause more pain. He walked over to the exit. Sasori’s eyes wondered to the side. There was someone there that he didn’t see before. When he saw Itachi, he squirmed trying to get at him and give him a peace of his mind, but Deidara and the sharp jabs of pain held him back.
“ It’s ok Sasori. Itachi is on our side now. He promised not to hurt us anymore.” Deidara told Sasori. Sasori was in disbelief, but he didn’t have time to think about it. The bird took off and him, Deidara and Itachi headed back to the hideout. The sky was clouded and black now. Sasori’s burns cooled in the air, but the blood still ran down his body. It stung horribly. Sasori held back his tears. Itachi watched him and Deidara together. He estimated the time it would take to get close to them. Deidara looked on ahead, still holding Sasori. He stroked the red-head’s head tenderly and he made the bird go faster. The sooner they got to the hideout, the faster Sasori would get medical attention.
