While we all headed down toward the deepest point of the Temple of Darkness, the unsettling feeling I had got worse and worse, and the air around us became heavy. Through the heaviness I could also feel something else. A familiar mana signature. There was someone down there, but who? It wasn't Abyssion, though it felt kinda similar.
Lloyd noticed that I was troubled and asked me what was wrong. I told him there was someone down there and that I knew them somehow, but I couldn't tell who it was yet. After hearing this, everyone was on guard. When we approached the final descending staircase we heard strange chanting. My heart sank when I heard the voice. I knew exactly who it was.
As we approached the end, Shadow appeared next to Sheena. "Intruder..." was all he said to the shadowed figure at the center of the room. She was surrounded by eerie blue light and a glowing magic circle was drawn around her. She stopped her chanting and dropped the scroll she was holding before chuckling evilly.
Everyone was ready to fight, but I stepped forward first. "Karen, why are you doing this?"
