Well, future me went back to his own timeline yesterday. I'm glad everything worked out for both of us, but I'm really annoyed with him right now. I asked him so many questions about the future, mostly about Presea... and he told me nothing except "be nicer to Zelos", which is the one thing I don't wanna do. He wouldn't have mentioned it if it wasn't important though, so I guess I'll have to try.
Anyway, I was planning on showing off my new mystic arte to Lloyd today, but it'll have to wait. He was busy today, and tomorrow I have my Colosseum match with Mighty. Speaking of Mighty, he stopped by unexpectedly today and demanded that I come with him to the Gaoracchia Forest. He's working on a research paper and said he needed a second opinion about the areas of light in the forest, but I think he was just too scared to go alone. We did bicker along the way since he has no sense of direction, but it was surprisingly less than usual.
On the way home we actually had a conversation about how far we've both come with our magic skills, and we even parted ways on a good note instead of fighting. Both of us are looking forward to our match tomorrow, but he's still confident that he's gonna win. He won't be so confident after he sees my Amaranthine Chaos though.
I don't know how I let him talk me into this, but sometime after our match we're coming back to the forest and staying there overnight since he still needs to collect data. I doubt things will go as smoothly as they did today since I'll be spending a full 24 hours with him. I'll probably end up regreting this.
