• There is a light that never goes out because it purges itself

The self that adapts to all life

The self grows, it befriends, it wonders, and it lies in rest

Every now and then, the life and consciousness that surrounds it, purges it

Without warning. Seeming almost premature at times

It often hurts, and dismays many

For this light is the warmest and most sacred light of all

It embodies and keeps the safety of all creation

The safety brings such relief, and all is engulfed in joy

The joy and pleasantness cannot help itself, so it yearns to burn,

to feel as bright as possible

The fire that is this self,

    feeds on innocent delight

Otherwise it cannot burn safely within your heart and soul

Before you can thrive, you must be safe

    So feed your innocent delight,

Before you yearn for ambitions and passions.

This way, your fire will never go out.

If your fire of innocent delight is not fed,

It will go out forever, purging itself.

Until it's purging fire overthrows the wilted, starving fire, and reveals,

There is a light that never goes out because it purges itself.
