• The sun, the moon
    The earth, the sky,
    All of these things
    That float on by.

    These things you made
    Both near and far,
    Some not even close
    To get to by car.

    I wish I could know,
    Could understand,
    Could fathom
    The work of your hand.

    But I am, sadly,
    Nothing more than a man.

    But you are God,
    You rule on high.
You make the beasts on land
    and the birds that fly.

    I ponder and adore
    These things you create,
    And wonder
At how much more you could make.

But to ask is to test,
    Which I must not do,
    For doing such
    May anger you.

    But you will love me,
    No matter what.
    For I am your creation,
Even if I am a "nut".

    Your work is amazing,
    Truly a masterpiece!
But what else would I expect,
    For you are God?

    My Lord, my God,
    I love you, truly.
    My Father above,
    You are so holy.
