- A book. A simple, plain, green book. The sister is more extravagant. Gold and Silver: rubies and emeralds. Full of luxurious wonder, that shiny cover is. She calls to you. She beckons you to caress those smooth curves; to open those tantalizing legs. But what's this you find? Dry rotten pages you see? Disgusting words! That lovely cover's promise kills everything within. Disgusting words from a disgusting book. Her sister: the plain, green sister. She is timid and shy. She asks you for nothing, but doesn't refuse you. You gently open her cover. Her pages are fresh; untouched by disgusting beings. Luscious images of pureness. Starlit nights on majestic mountains. Great adventures carry you away beyond the edges of the page. Whole worlds spring to life. Wounds of beautiful flesh slide beneath your hands. You love this book. Just as you feel nothing will make this book better, she ends. No more words. No images. The book is dead.

- Title: Your love is Dead
- Artist: nightlydemond
- Description: I wrote this in a creative writing class. I'm not going to say the grade I got, nor how it was received in the workshop. I'll leave that judgment to you guys, and mostly because everyone in my creative writing class hated me for unrelated things. The darker side of my mind kind of wants them to get into a sixteen car pile-up on the freeway. Anyway, this poem is prose style so it's not meant to rhyme.
