I once was a fisher-men, long long ago.
I would watch the tides, ebb and flow.
I could tell you where the fish would bite.
It didn't matter the time or light.
I once was a fisher-men, long long ago.
I would watch the tides, ebb and flow.
I once was out on a stormy night.
And they couldn't find me in the light.
Now poets write of how my life did go.
But I still some times watch tide ebb and flow.
Though I can no longer tell you where the fish will bite.
And I wont go out on a stormy night.
But I can tell you how the salty air tastes.
And what it is like with the wind in your face.
And I still love to swim at night.
And I will always look for the biggest bite.
Because I once was a fisher-men, long long ago.
And I once would watch the tides, ebb and flow.

- I really liked this poem, it was a very creative take on the theme. I'm also a fan of the rhyme scheme. One thing, though, if you're at all concerned with grammar; there shouldn't be a comma between 'tides' and 'ebb' (ie tides ebb and flow, not tides, ebb and flow). Otherwise. it was great smile 4/5
