• I Long ago in Ireland, there lived a young man.
He was the son of Fionn Mac Cumhail, Oisin was his name.
One day he and the Fianna, were walking bout the shore.
Upon the waves, he saw Niamh of the golden hair, riding a white horse.
V She said " Oisin i've watched you, for a long time.
My love for you has only grown with every deed you do.
So come my love with me, to my Kingdom beyond the western sea.
Come Oisin with me, to the land of Tir Na Og"....

Tir Na Og, Tir Na Og,
X Come with me Oisin, to the land of Tir Na Og,
Tir Na Og, Tir Na Og,
Come with me my love, to the land of eternal youth.

So upon the back of the white horse Oisin mounted.
He bade goodbye to kin and friends, and their sorrow he did rout.
XV He said "Do not fear for me, and do not cry,
For I go unto a blessed realm where happiness never dies".
So the Princess and Oisin galloped o'er the raging sea.
When they came to Tir Na Og, Oisin could not belive his eyes.
For there were great castles and towers, shining like the ivory dawn.
XXThe rivers and lakes were as sapphires, and the hills emerald and tall.

Tir Na Og', Tir Na Og,
Come with me Oisin, to the land of Tir Na Og,
Tir Na Og, Tir Na Og,
Come with me my love, to the land of eternal youth.
