• With flowers bright and beautiful,
    And trees green with moss,
    A spot to sit,
    I'll never forget,
The place I happened to cross.

I felt at ease in this long lost place,
    Somewhere I should be,
    Unlike the city,
    Loud and gritty,
    This place made me free.

I almost could have I lost myself,
In this place of fairies and magic,
    but reality came,
    and put me to shame,
for my thoughts were surely tragic.

So I stood up and took a breath,
    Saying goodbye to my thoughts,
    though I regret,
    I will surely forget,
the road back to that spot.
