• How hollow is the tree upon the hill overlooking the ocean?
Is it sad it can never see the birds above or the sharp cliffs below?
Does it long to feel the cool water upon it's roots?
Or does it fear the cold kiss of the wind blowing from the mountains above?
Nobody knows the answers to this question
For the tree can not speak
But if it could the tree would say only a few words

I am full of the hope that one day someone will take but a single leaf from my brach
And throw it into the sea with a wish
Then that wish will dance upon the wind and waves to a new land and give someone hope
The tree moves with the wind not fearing it's cold breath but embracing it
This is because the tree needs the wind to servive
    No one knows why
    Maybe no one ever will
This is put a simple observation
From the one hanging from it branches
