• Is what helps us really our worst enemy? We can see in color, but that is what blinds us. We can speak many languages, but that is what destroys us. We have very flexible arms and fingers, but we only know how to flex them into powerful fists. We have feelings, and we use them to build walls, or crumble with them. People know how to hurt each other, but do they know the true meaning of love?

With the gift of colored sight, we hurt each other. We are blinded by the color of skin, the color of hair, the color of clothes. Because we can see the color of someone on the outside, we will never look deeper to find the color of their soul.

We were all taught different languages. Some people know more than one. However, all were structured around strong feelings. There are words of love and kindness in every language, but we never use them. All we see in each other is what we dislike, and no one is afraid to say it.

Our hands are not that of a dog or cat or frog. Our arms have a larger range of motion, our fingers can move. It is something we depend on every day. However, people misuse this wonderful gift. We move or fingers into fists and draw our arms back for a big punch. That is not how we should use our limbs.

Our feelings are stronger than any other animal. We can be insanely happy, or insanely sad. It is when we are insanely sad that we build forts to fight each other. The loser will crumble with their walls; they may never be seen again.

People know how to hurt each other too well. They do not know when to stop and by then it will be too late.

Love is what we should strive for. It is the hardest thing to achieve. It cannot be bought, sold, or made with materials. It is a feeling that you hide inside of you, sheltering it from the pain you feel every day. However, if it ever blossoms inside you, you have defeated one of the biggest challenges of life. And that’s when, and only when, life will be as perfect as it could ever be.
