If I should wake before I die,
I pray my love, please do lie
Of all the joys that death doth hold,
As I’m swept within the reaper’s fold.
And if I should pass unaware
I pray my love, please don’t despair
Of all that’s lost as my light fades.
Eternally through yesterday
And forever ‘till your dying day
I’ll be within your memory
Thus exists eternity.
- Title: If I Should Wake Before I Die
- Artist: Anyuiitte
- Description: A poem which is analogous to the prayer 'Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep'. It just popped into my head the night before my operation. It is a bit morbid. Let me know what you think.
