-
transparent features, for a
luminescent goddess of
peace, captured in a
porcelain doll,
skin the colour of pearls.
this lonely goddess, a
witness of the past -
sings to the moon, every night.
moonbeam eyes searching, for
a shining star -
so she can make her wish.
traveling in the wind of
the world's mistake -
she wanders.
eyes like the reflection of
broken glass.
little did she know, she
was broken, herself.
yet, somehow, she is still -
the epitome of serenity.
eyes the color of diamond,
her tears - like the ashes
of a thousand grievers,
colder than snow.
all she does is vanish into
the silent night, naught
but a breeze, in the eyes
of the ignorant.
she weeps - the moon,
witness to her misfortune.
riding on clouds made by
a mermaids tear -
she travels, with hopes
to one day, meet him -
a star, in nobodies eyes,
but hers.
she always ran away,
but she is no longer afraid.
now she searches for her lost one,
unknowingly, losing herself.
