• Description: Its about those little blankets small children and some people have or carry around with them to feel safe, hold on to memories or just cling to. I think they are cute and i have no idea how i thought of writing this poem XD

My precious blanket,
Make the pain go away,
Keep those terrors inside me locked in a vault,
I know it was never your fault,
You keep me safe and you keep me warm,
Without you I would be nothing at all,
So I carry you around over my shoulder like a shawl,
I hold you close at night and whisper good night,
Give you a tight hug and know everything will be alright.
