• It was about three years ago, but there is no way to tell time here. I was an average teenager before my life got turned upside down. Here is my story.

“Beep beep,” my stupid alarm clock going off at three something in the morning, I really should get that fixed. My hand searched around for the button, being nearly blind without my contacts or glasses, it was hard to find. Finally after hitting the dumb off button, and finding my box of contacts putting them on. I sat up, yawning as I do. Sense I’m already up what is the point of going back to bed. I thought slowly trying to get my brain going. I sighed and slowly got out of bed, yawning again as I did, and walked over to me small closet. The closet was the same color of my boring average room, yellow. It was small just big enough to fit about 30 or so shirts, a small dresser, and my book bag for school. I groaned still sleepy, and pulled a black long sleeved button down shirt, black jeans with a red strip down each of the sides, a pair of black socks, my shoes and a pair of leather black gloves. . I carried my clothes to the bathroom and set them on the marble counter .I turned on the shower letting it get warm. Then striped my clothes and stepped into the heated water .After a good 20 minutes I turned off the shower, and stepped out carefully because I don’t want to slip. I grabbed a towel out from under the sink, and dried off. I hung up the towel and slipped into my clothes rubbing my hands together to get them warm. I walked out of the bathroom, fully awake now, and looked at the clock. It was only 4:15.
I sighed, and walked down the stairs thinking about what I was going to do for the next three hours. I walked into our kitchen and opened the cabinet full of different types of cereal. I ran my finger across each title.”Cookie Crisp or Coco Puffs what to choose. Hum Cookie Crisp it is.”I pulled out the box and got a bowel out of another cabinet. After I ate my bowl of cereal, I sat on the couch and turned on the TV flipping through the different shows until I found the history network. Most kids my age watched Mtv and stuff like that, but not me I like history more than cribs and those other shows. I started watching the show about world war two. Once the show was over my parents came down the stairs holding little Morris in her arms.”Good morning what are you doing up so early.”I shrugged and stood up.”Okay time for me to leave.”My parents looked at me then shook their heads from side to side.”It is only 7 o’clock you still have another half an hour before you need to leave.”I nodded and looked at the door.”I will walk slower taking my time and maybe....”I trailed off as I ran up stairs and grabbed my book bag from my closet. I headed to the door and looked over my shoulder.”Bye bye,” I said at them then turned to the door, and opened it walking out into the fresh cold air. I loved mornings for this reason, I get to get out of the house and it is nice and cool. I started off towards school taking my time, as I said I would. About half away to school I heard a voice behind me,” Haydin, Haydin come on wait up.” I turned around at my name and my stomach filled with butterflies. It was Sophia, the best looking girl in school. We met in 3rd grade when she first came to the same school as me. I remember the first thing I said to her trying to impress her with being all James Bond like, “Hello the name’s Rosen, Haydin Rosen. I’ll be your guild today.” We have been friends since, and I’ve had a crush on her sense the 5th grade when my liking of girls grew stronger. I don’t think I stand a chance though, because she turns down about five guys a day. Finally we made it to Raven High School for the Honors after our pointless chatter. She grabbed my hand and started running to the school gate.”Hurry we are going to be late.” Was it just me or did my hand just catch on fire by her touch. I hope it was just me or she would be asking questions right now, and probably taking me to the nurse.
