• Sitting in Vegas is the life
    Hot weather, little rain
    My skin feels oh-so dry
The temperature is sure in vain

    Desert heat
    No sleet
    Water, water everywhere
    Not a drop to drink
    An oasis over there?
Just a mirage, wouldn't you think?

    Sitting in Vegas
    My mood burns
The sun warms up my thoughts
And everything I'm thinking of turns.
A thousand miles away from home
    Traveled by plane
    Me and a huge beach
Means nothing but sunburns creating a huge skin stain.

    Circus Circus Hotel Casino
    Where I once stayed
    Cousin's house
    Where we also played.

    Feet walking on the sand
    Not just the hot concrete
Sitting in Vegas reminds me for this summer
As the weather makes the vacation sweet!

Sitting in Vegas where I am
    My head is fire-burning
The blazing ground heats my feet
    Summer is all about fun-learning
    Walking into the desert sun
    Laying in the beach
My vacation will soon be done
But the heat will stick to me like a leech
