• Feels like you're treading in open waters
    The sharks are coming
    So swim away
    Not too fast
    Or they'll take you down
    Not too slow
    Or you might drown
So keep your wits about you
    And swim away
To the other side of the day

    The day is harsh
    Like the suns rays
    Beating down on forgotten territory
    Though they own weak hearts
    The lands do not sway
And keep on telling the story
Of the ancient lore of old
    Time as it unravels mysteries
There's only one way to see the truths
Or, at least, that's how it's been told

    Now there's the running brook
    Babbling like the lowest tide
It gently sweeps away the shore
    Now just wait and look
The water is like the sweetest guide
    Leading you to your home
Where you can't get lost in the dreams anymore

    Now the water misleads
It takes you up above the trees
To the clouds and up so high
You can't help but wonder if you'll touch the sky
Skimming the horizon as you glide away
The speed at which you move
It's a soft and pleasant breeze
But now the clouds are turning grey
That light feeling has been removed

    Thunder echoes in the skies
    Wonder if you're gonna cry
As lightning flashes on the clouds
You can tell that your heart starts to pound
The shadows are menacing and strangely proud
Makes you wish you really had drowned
Rain is harsh and cold on your back
Each drop equivalent to a smack
    Suddenly you open your eyes
The dream turned nightmare is now merely lies
