Dear Daddie,
Thank you for not naming me Maddie,
For me that would be baddie,
And I wouldn’t love you, Daddie.
Thank you for not dying yet,
You better not show signs until I’m married and have a pet,
I want to grieve when I’m all set,
So I’m glad you’re not dead yet.
Oh crap I’m running out of poetic things,
I really like that peace ring,
I like when you listen to guitar and sing,
Woot! More poetic things.
Now it’s two o’ clock
Happy father’s day!
I’ve finish a poem, what a shock!
Hurray Hurray Hurray!
- Title: My Father's Day Poem
- Artist: Synayo
-
Description:
This is a poem I wrote for my dad at 2 AM, the day of Father's day, when I realized I had left my gift for him at school.
Which ended the week before...
Total "Oh s**t!" moment.
This was my 5th attempt.
It's funny how it's hard to write poems when you're actually trying xD
I WROTE FROM DA HEART, MON!
PS: I'm sorry to any/all Maddies who read this. I like the name. i needed a rhyme. - Date: 06/20/2010
