• When the cricket went meow,
    i really was surprised.
    Whatever happened to that melodic sound
    that made my dog cry?

    And soon my cat stormed by,
    angry as can be.
    Muttering under her breath
    how she never shouldve shown
    mercy.

    I laughed and sighed,
    out of utter respect.
    These are the moments that make my life worth
    more than a wrench.
