• The Moon
The moon is a sleepy wolf,
    Fearless and gray.
He hides in a cave all day,
    With his shiny silver eyes,
    Hour upon hour he waits,
To watch the world turning grey,
Then howls at the thousands of twinkling stars.

    He seems lonely,
He can’t see the sunny summer’s day.
    He never sleeps at night.
    But when the day dawns,
    He finally has sweet dreams.
