Leaves

• Description: It's bitter sweet but that was how I felt as I wrote it. I didn't plan this out or anything I just wrote it as I went i hope it's good. I wrote this becuase recently a relative passed away and I wondered what he would think when he say how dark, sad, and quiet our life had become. This is what I thought he would be thinking. The leaves satnd for people and the life cycle.

I watch as the leaves sprout wings and float to safety
They float magically as if they had practiced their whole lives

That was what they did
That was what we did

Our whole lives just practice to leave
To float

Peace envelopes me
I don't panic like other people

I watch them fall peacefully
Yes I am sad but the world keeps moving on around me

Life will soon again begin it's cycle
Once again a life while practrice

Once again a life will float
So why panic?

I shiver slightly
I feel warm hands envelope me

I don't fight it
I just drift into darkness

But it's peaceful
and soon a new life will sprout

Don't be sad
Don't panic

I'll be back.
