Cheeky Monkey
Dirty Apes
Shave for all the difference it makes

A world apart
Divided by bars
No ones free
Beasts caught
We go willingly
Think for me
Tell me Tell me
I don’t know what to do
Give me Give me
A job to do

Teach me, Teach me
Outsmarted by a monkey
Shaved of his hair
Stuck it on me
I’m in this zoo
He’s running free

He’s an ugly baby
I’m a scruffy monkey
My new family
Are ashamed of me
His family gets benefits and sympathy

Unusual and ironic but ... and I mean to be friendly ... wouldn't this make a better story than a mere poem if that's what it is.
