• The candle light making the room more human in this world of linoleum floors, I.V. s, and gurneys. The insufferable silence engulfing everything in it's path, making even the most sane person insane. But they still move on. Everyone moving so fast,

Enticing lies flutter by. Watching parents tell their kids, "everything's going to be alright." Everything's going to be alright a line that is repeated, maybe so they can reassure themselves.

As they blow out the candle and the smoke rises, leaving one dying ember. The ember that would last a life time, I realize nothing is ever going to be the same.
