• I leave behind my busy day
And sail to a place far away.
In my bed the reality sinks,
Soon it will no longer have a link.
Lying, waiting, for us to meet,
A thing that will gently guide my feet.
I look forward to this every day,
As it also waits, standing at bay.
It brings me happiness as it comes along,
When it's finally here, I feel as if I belong.
    Experiencing it in many ways,
It will always bring me out of my terrible daze.
Relying on it to brighten my soul,
Knowing that I will never have to pay a toll.
I always wonder how long it will stay
But it all depends on the night and day.
When it leaves I will always miss it,
Knowing how much my soul it lit.
I don't worry knowing that it will come back,
Waiting for the next night, for things to become pitch black.
I will leave reality every single night,
Arriving back home in the morning light.
