Solar System

• Description: I had to write a poem for a Language Arts assignment. Rather than write my poem about love, or sadness, or anger, or a pet, or any of those other things that everybody wrote their poem on, I wrote about the Solar System.

Mercury's a sauna
Mars is lifeless, what a bore!
Uranus rotates backwards
And Venus is next door

Jupiter's a giant
and it's really stormy, too
Saturn has some awesome rings
And Neptune's clouds are blue

Earth is most people's favorite
Since we live there every day
And Pluto's still a planet
No matter what you say!

I tried putting them in order but I couldn't work out how to do the rhymes.

A rather accurate description, I'd say, but it could flow a lot better if you put the planets in order. It also has very simple rhymes.
