Many times you tried to warn me
And protect me from what would come
So much pain you tried to save
To keep me from that scum

Every time I almost make that mistake
Really you’re the one who cares
Convince me out of what I would regret
Help my heart from tears

I’m so glad to have a friend like you
Every class you help me get through
Friends like you are few
