A calm Cold green clearing
All is at peace
In the center is merely
The Marble angel’s kneeling
At there feet is only
A small frozen child,
Her red flaming hair
Spread out by her side
Perfect little dewdrops
Adorning her pale face
Her cheeks are still
Round as the moon
Tearstains are visible
They fade on her face
A small white gown
Gives her the name Grace
Curled up for warmth
In the Freezing night
Bruising reveals
A harsh brutal life
The Perfect Angel
She sleeps still this night.
A Statue remembers
This poor angel’s flight.

- Words fail me once ending this poem, and my heart has been broken with the sympathetic emotion that it nearly brings me to tears. I love this one, and even without having to read it. This goes in the book.
