breaks my heart in so many ways

all the things i'll never get to say
all the chances i lost to hold your hand
all the times i might have kissed your lips

i close my heart to the rejection you give
afraid to fear the things inside me
so sick of the loneliness i know is there

you're pretty face
you're seductive voice
all the things about you
setting myself up for heartbreak

you told him yes
you told me no
but something about you
won't let me let you go

you know him well
so i say to you
like i've said so many times before

if you need a friend i am here

Wow,i love this.Your poem reminds me of this exact same situation i had.I couldnt look away.For a second i thought you might be the boy im taking about.Only-he would never write poetry...At least,..i dont think he would.Eigther way,its great!
