• Lay in silence,
    Listen to the birds.
    Hold your breath,
Feel the turn of the world.
    Let it out,
    Feel the fire.
    Don’t look down,
You’re on a tight rope wire.

    You hold a pole,
    Hoping for balance.
    Ignore the stares,
    You are aware,
    Feel the pressure.
    Pressing down on your lungs.
    You begin to fly.
    With your last few breaths,
    You wonder “Why?”

    Your mind flows free,
    Only to be stopped,
    “What about me?
    What about what I need,
    What I want?
    If only…

Set me free, you all will see
    What I can do,
    Off this wire,
    Liberated from this role,
    If only…”

    Do the what you want,
    Ignore what they need.
    Ignore what you need,
    Give them what they want.
They want you to crash and burn,
Will you let them get into your mind?
    The wire breaks,
    You begin to fall,
    Your one last wish,
    Screw them all.

    You fall into lush,
But you fell as though you were crushed.
    Crushed by your hopes,
    Your dreams.
    Where did they go?
That’s all you want to know.
    They left, you see,
    They were set free.

    But, I am still here,
    It was so near,
    It could’ve taken me,
    Why didn’t it?
    Its not fair,
    I wanted to go,
    Its not fair,
    It went by so slow.
    An involuntary sacrifice?
My hopes and dreams for my life?
What do I live for now?

    Wait.
    A fresh start,
To do what I want to.
This might not be so bad,
I need not be so sad.

    I have a chance,
To make something of my world.
    Get up,
    Give it a twirl,
Show the world that you are here,
Show the world that life is near

I hope one day, that you will see,
What I will make this life to be.
