There was an old woman
Who lived in a shoe
She had so many children
She didn't know what to do
She lined their meals
With arsenic and lead
And left their cold corpses
For the wolves to be fed
Away she trudged on
Without feeling or rapture
Numbed by her deed
Her soul for the capture
By the laws of the world
To death was she bound
With simple admittance
That her life should come end
Trigger, bullet, and gun
Did away her spirit send
And just as her body
On this life plane fell
Her spirit in torture
Was given to hell

Description:
The Old Woman in a Shoe: 21st Century
On a local level, there's been a recent surge of horribly violent crimes involving women. These crimes are usually women murdering their own children and husbands going on killing sprees, killing the wife and often times other family members. I was somehow brought around to the thought of the nursery rhyme "The Old Woman in the Shoe." I re-wrote it in the gloom of these unfortunate events, believing that the rhyme needed re-vamping for today's society. - Date: 02/19/2009

- I sympathize with the woman. If I had kids, I'd probably beat their skulls in with golf clubs while they slept. God damn seed ruining my life. ******** humanity.
