The Silence

• Artist: Once in a Lifetime__x_
• Description: I was bored one day, and so I got out a pen and paper and wrote a poem. It really has no meaning to it, to me anyway, but while I was sitting in my room and it was quiet. Then, of course, out of no where, my mother's Cu-coo clock went off, which scared the crap out of me. So, I asked myself, what would happen if breaking the silence could make the world go into chaos, and so here is the output of that. Hope you enjoy~!

Silence.

Silence
in the streets.
Silence
in the homes.
Silence
until one sound,
one chime,
crushes it.
The clock strikes one,
it seems the whole city shakes.
Windows crash,
pictures break,
mirrors crack,
tears fall,
and lives are taken,
all because of the chime that broke the
Silence.
