I've never really known.
I tried to look it up
And this is what was shown.

Well, then that's definitely my definition.

A sweetheart or an object of affection?

I don't have that.
I've never really know what love was.
But now I guess I do.
Even though I still don't have it.

After reading the first line, I couldn't help but think "Baby dont hurt me"

To be honest, love is a topic too often written about. In essence, poetry has beaten that dead horse with a stick far too long. Its good that you're expressing yourself, but I don't really like it.

And the colour of the poem is just as much a part of the poem as the text itself.
