Raindrops

• Description: I love the rain. I wrote this poem right after a thunderstorm, in the time where its just rain left. this poem pretty much describes my view of the rain. It's freeverse, so it doesn't rhyme, but I'm not very good at the rhyming stuff anyways. I hope you like it!

Splishing, Splashing,
Dripping, Trickling,
It's raining.

Little pieces of sky
Falling, kissing
Her sister Earth,
Giving sweet reminders of her love.

Music of nature,
Bath of the wild,
Tears of Angels,
God's watering can.

Liquid diamonds,
Shards of glass,
Nourishing plants
And flooding cities.

Beautiful rain,
Natural lullaby,
Stress-reliever,
mood-reviver,
refresher, calmer,
relaxer, inspirer.

Randomly appearing
and disappearing.
Fooling you into thinking it's gone...




And then popping back again.
It's raining.
