The light.

• Description: This is a little poem that I created. I love to write poetry. . . not that it's any good. This particular piece, is about the light that guides you on your journey of life, and then betrays you in the end. It's a short poem, but I think it's meaningful. I hope you enjoy it!! ^_^

The light is the first thing you see when you are brought into this world.
The light is what gives you hope that you can survive in this cold and unfamiliar world.
The light rises in the morning, and sets in the night, just like you.
The light guides you in your journey of age.
The light tells you which decision to make, big or small.
The light guides you on the correct path.
The light sees who you truly are and does not judge. . . .for you are all it has.
The light allows you to love and hate.
The light remains with you even when you are old and wrinkly.
But all the while the light is growing.
When your light grows too big for the earth,
It steers you into darkness so it can exist without fear.

It's okay. maybe don't say "the light" a billion times because then it just sounds repetitive and childish. Also, it could flow a bit better
