Ever wonder what now
Ever see what others don't
Ever dream of casting spells
To change what stupid fate won't
Ever hear the world call your name
Ever want to sleep midair
Ever want to walk on water
Just leave this world without a care
Music flows around your head
Melodies dance in the breeze
You feel you become weightless
As you start to see above the trees
You ascend futher to the clouds
Floating, just floating in the sky
But then you instantly start to fall
Danger below you makes you cry
Your world is shattered
No more dreams
Tears flow like a river
Happiness rips at the seams
Pain as you fall
Scared as you drop
Anger as you dive
Your bubble bursts - pop
As smiles fade
And Sadness stays
You enter reality
Hip hip hooray...

Very entertaining! I see you utilized many literary devices in this poem: imagery (throughout), rhetorical questioning (lines 1- cool , and sarcasm (last line). Keep up the great work! biggrin

Gratias, bob biggrin Yeah I write poems and stuff. I just lazy... I can't write a poeem that doesn't rhyme, no matter how I try. Eh... Well gratias anyway! ("Gratias" is "Thank you" in Latin)
