• One by one we march forward
    To the house of death
We should’ve saved our final cries
And made them our last breaths

Its sickening to walk and think
    That so many don’t care
That we have all these emotions too
But we cannot speak our despair

The shocks sting on our flesh
The two-legged say it doesn't hurt
Well how would you like your ears tagged
Brands on your hide leaving painful burn

    Why must these stupid men
Put us in pastures so green
    Feed us such great things
Just to make us fat and lean

Then we're chased through our fields
    By bold horses that scream
The men tell us to move
Why must they be so mean?

A cow off to my left
She laid down to have her calf
    They trampled her fragile body
    Not choosing a safer path

    Loaded onto these trucks
    Two stories piled high
The smell of others like us
It suorrounds us and makes us cry

Days of long and bumping travel
Then put in a muddy pen
As more of my kind passed on
I decided to speak up then

I am expressed through this human
    One who speaks out bold
They took my life, you consumed me
The human race is truly cold
