Not knowing what's right infront of me, I look at the crowd,
Screaming so loud, Knowing somwhere, People like them are suffering,
Blood shattered glass, The sounds of guns ring in my head,
Thinkin', Will everything be okay?
Sure, I mean it's almost over but, This war will never end,
The tears of the helpless mothers are burned, Into my skull,
Will we? Ever be able to smile again, Hopein',
This cursed world never ends, We could never really understand the lies, That we are fed night after night,
Believin', What we're doing is right, But we don't see what we're doing tonight,
So I stand here, Singing my American Pledge, Hopein', That we never see it again,
The tears, The tears of our dying hearts, All alone, And keft in the dark,
As the fireworks crash, We hope to, Never see this hell again ...
