nothing makes sense anymore
I can never be sure
who I can trust
everything seems so unjust
but I can't give in
wish I could again begin
a life full of mistakes
fix a heart that always aches
what I want the most
is to help the ones I hold so close
but it seems like they're slipping away
day by day
fading into the dark
leaving me behind as they embark
I'm lost without those ones so dear
I hope they don't disappear
