I loved you and cared for you,
I wanted to be with you,
And I protected you.
But to you I was nothing,
To you all I was was a phase,
To you im nothing more than a mistake.
To me you were everything,
To me you were perfect,
To me you was a good choice.
I gave you my heart and you tore it in two.
I gave you my all and you spit on it.
Well fine burn me, break me, hate me I'm over you.

dire like i said i wrote a poem about heartbreak to help my friend get over a girl that broke his heart. and he hasnt yet gotten over her but he has moved on.
