Wishing to be with you,

Is what I think about,

Alone in my room at night,

Wishing you were here,

To keep me warm and safe,

But knowing,

All this wishing,

Won't help,

I sing, hoping my song reaches you,

But my songs never reach,

Wishing turns into tear drops,

That float upon a pond,
