Innocence & Seduction
Prose
A white rose fades a field of green
Attracting a passerby as he spies its beauty
He approaches, his swagger cautious
His shadow cast upon the innocence of the rose
He outstretches his arm
Pricking his finger
His blood runs red
Your name taunts his mind
And like a sickness overwhelms him
His eyes darken
His heart stops
Love is realized as the young man secedes to your grace.
You’ve seduced him
You’ve betrayed him
And yet he cannot deny you

i think that the firs two lines had a sense of power over me
but then i kept reading and i was pulled away.
good start and okay poem
but if you have a pull on someone dont push them away by bringing in a character.
but is a good poem

thank you bunnie, but i'm actually in a joyfull mood when i write these, i feel my scope is restricted to gothic romanticism & a sadistic sense of manipulation. indifference is god among the void.

Pfft, happy is over-rated. There are so many more emotions in this world besides "happy." Whiskey is just one of the few poets who is not afraid to express these emotions.
