I look up at the sky,
and now I know why.
Why I can't see the stars
anymore.
The world's going to h*ll,
and it doesn't care it fell
even though it can tell!
Well,
I guess we had it coming,
cutting trees and then numbing
our minds to the fact that
the world is dying.
The ozone layer
is getting holey.
The poles themselves are melting.
And all this is a toll
for polluting and destroying.
And I'm living in New York
at a major cause.
So I look back to the stars,
and take a pause.
Oh f*ck.

Description:
Just a lil' some thin' I made up when I wondered why I couldn't see the stars at night anymore.
Is there any thing wrong with that??
I feel as though I'm gonna get a low score because NO one likes being reminded of global warming. - Date: 10/12/2008

- um . . . very colorful vocabulary. even though people might not want to be reminded of global warming, it wouldn't change the fact that all of what you said is happening right now. remember, we can all still at least try to do SOMETHING. Pray. Use your bike more often! Plant more trees and flowers! SOMETHING! interesting topic for a poem.
