• Close your eyes and look where you cannot see
The clouds are never motionless, where waters run free

The grass grows in patterns, the air always sings
Where people are kind, and rule without kings.

Heart beats are precious, each one carries beat
The noise is expected, like walking on feet.

Smiles are not fake, and eyes always clear
And people are open to speak of their fears

Money isn’t an object, no one is misled
We are all equals, and no rivers run red.

Food is bountiful each table saves a spot
For one who has nothing, no one is forgot

I can trust in another, to hold what I give
And they share to me, what helps make them live.

Open your eyes and see that the lie
Was nothing more real then a mother’s lullaby.

The world is not perfect, it seems not to me
They say that it won’t be, don’t waste in your dreams

They tell me that many will starve and people called names
They imply that they’re lives, are nothing but games

The young ones who fight in “our” very own war
Are only chess pieces, and there always are more

All problems disappear with a smile and a small lie
Just put on a face, and keep it inside.

The air now is poison, in which I can’t breathe
Our life is destroying the planet’s thin sheathe

My out ward appearance, and the way that I speak
Categorizes me and the things I need “tweaked”

My life is not my own, not one I desire
But if “they” say it’s cool, I swallow my fire.

Burn my words, and die out my flame
As I close my eyes to the world that is sane.
