Cry in the Rain

• Description: Its kind of weird how this poem came about... There I was sitting in my room trying desperately to fall asleep, and while I spaced out those words just popped in my head so I went with it. I wrote it downm, worked on it a bit...and here it is!! Hope you like it. :D

I sit crying
In the rain
To hide my tears
And shed my pain

Holding on to
What you said
As thoughts of you
Race through my head

I watch the tears
Fall in my hands
As I lay footprints
In the sand

The rain it crashes
Around my head
Yet so many things
Are left unsaid

I lay my head
Down for sleep
As unwanted voices
Begin to weep

A moment I realize
The weeping is me
Still crying tears
Unsettled, unfree

I give up hope
To cry in the rain
To hide my tears
And shed my pain
