You look at me, with eyes cold as ice,
You step in my face while I am down in the mud,
Your hatred for me will suffice,
For wronging your love I'll pay with my blood.
I say I love you, and let my feelings unfurl
You look at me and see a fool,
I look at you and see my world,
But what you do to me is too cruel.
I may not be handsome, brave or tall,
I may not be the smartest guy, or the perfect man of your dreams
But for your happiness I fought them all,
And now you break my heart amidst my screams
You’re my destruction, my angel from hell,
From all the evils of the world I gave you safety so you didn’t need to hide,
And all you did was lock my heart in a cell,
To serve your twisted will you lied.
So now I fight, to restore what I’ve broken,
So go ahead and cry, I don’t even care,
Your lies no longer affect me, and I shall no longer be outspoken,
I will never look at you again, to you I’ve no words to spare.
