• As we sat there watching the dieing of the light
A part of my soul, for you, was losing it's sight
How can I move on when my soul won't forget
A wise person once told me
"never just settle for what you can get"
So why should I look to another for that breath of life
When my soul will allow only one to rekindle it's light

No, tis a fool's errand to try
I'd sooner become a forgotten old man and die
You are the key to my salvation in this life
and with out you everything is meaningless toil and strife
So my soul for now lies dormant and dim
Hoping that one day you will breath life into it again

Christ knows my heart it's true
And I can only hope he finds it worthy of you...
