But she is ignored with a glare…
The crashing…
The smashing…
The child is thrashing…
But she is put down with a stare…
The violence…
The blood…
The screeching of sirens are misunderstood…
The handcuffs…
The jail…
The child says her final farewell…

- powerful. but i think if you used just one period after the parts like The lying ( only the lines with a verb) would be more effective, it's just a suggestion so you don't have to worry about, this poem was really good i hope you'll write more and i hope every thing is better with your parents ...
