• A fallen angel with broken wings
    In desperation cries out,
For a love and peace and hope that she cannot live without.
"To far have I fallen for too great a price,"
    She tells herself with spite,
No one can save the little girl who bought all the worlds lies.

There she sits, alone in the dark,
    And wonders why she cries...
For the hope and salvation that she's come to despise.

Then a ray of light, a shining beam of hope,
    Falls gently on her face,
And bathes the broken angel in a sea of loving grace.
    "Come to me my child,"
She hears a voice call out.
"Too long have I watched you suffer,
And try to shut Me out."

And she hears the voice and listens...

A redeemed angel with pure white wings,
    Dances freely through the night.
And sings of the joy she's found,
    In God's redeeming light.
