• Just so you know, this is not about Edward Cullen. I just needed a way to get the whole girl population to read this.
As you might have guessed from me, a random thought by heart_of_a_fighter.
There's been something on my mind about bullying. I've experienced it (not as a bully, but I will admit I may be getting dangerously close) and I think everyone has at one point. Us girls are the worst when it comes to bullying. We fight with words, and everyone who has heard "the pen is mightier then the sword" understands this. To make it worse, when we insult with words, we cower behind cell phones and watch what happens from afar, like we're puppet masters of sorts.
By the way, I'm talking about all sorts of bullying. Not just punching or hair tugging or the stealing of lunch money, but crude insults and back talk and gossip. Sometimes we bully and we don't even know. Sometimes we might purposely in class exclude someone from our group just because we don't like them. We may sigh in disgust when assigned them as a partner (yes, they always hear this, no matter how quietly you think you did it) we ignore them when they talk because they "get on our nerves".
Well, to be quite blunt, it needs to stop.
It's not even the clique girls who do this. Even the bullied can be bullies. I know that I bully, even though it's usually unintentional. We need to stop and take to heart the feelings of others. And don't you dare roll your eyes like you do at those anti-bullying seminars they hold every two months. I'm serious.
From now on, every girl who reads this and may do some of the things I said before, I want you to-

    - say hi to someone you've never said hi to before.
    - say hi to someone you hate.
    - compliment someone you are always instulting. And mean it.
    - if you see a bully, stop them!
    - if you are a bully, admit it.
    - apologize to the people you've heart.
    - instead of blowing up when someone annoys you, take a deep breath and find your happy place. Try to laugh it off. It's hard, but it's progress.

Thank you for reading, gals. If a stray guy found his way here, yeah, I'm talking to you, maybe you should take into account some of these things as well. We can put an end to bullying, us and only us! Let's put an end to it!

    Thanks for your time.
