• It was midnight. I was at a party. But all I wanted to do was go home. That’s when Vidia caught me.
“Hello Ardelle. What’s the matter?” Vidia, the town’s Queen Bee, was set out to do only one thing. Mentally destroy me.
“Get out of my face Vidia.” I said.
“Why? Are you going to cry?” she replied.
“Now, I’m not in the mood.”
“Sure, when I’m done with you.”
I lost myself at that point. I didn’t know what happened until I saw a huge red mark on her face.
Not only that, but her hair, long and brown, was messed up. And her Jade Green eyes were tearing up.
At that moment she opened her mouth to yell. “You loser!”
I was already gone by then. But I could still hear.
I was crying then at that moment. My tears were wetting my plump cheeks. My long wavy Auburn hair was brushing against my face. My blue eyes were wet from tears.
When I got home I changed into a more comfortable outfit. I drove to the hospital to see my ill bound brother.
Jake, who loved art and sports as much as I did, was in the hospital sick with leukemia. It struck me pretty hard.
His eyes, Blue as ever, were now dull and Gray. His spiked Brown hair was now gone. And his Almond colored skin was now paled.
He had just awaked from a long sleep when I arrived. “Hey little sis.” His voice sounded weak. Oh God.
    “Hey,” I replied “Feeling better?”
“No.” he beckoned for me to come closer.
He reached out his hand to touch my cheek. I took his hand in both of mine. As he spoke, he sounded even weaker.
“Promise me you’ll live on knowing I died a happy brother. Promise me you won’t get to upset when I’m gone.” He looked so weak. But he was so young. Too young to die I thought. In my only response I nodded.
Then he closed his eyes and he was gone.
“I love you Jake. Goodbye.” I said as I walked and left his cold body in his room.
